Our Angie's sire, Casey, was BOB at the 2003 SCA National Specialty, #1 Samoyed both All Breed and BOB System in the year 2004, 5 times Best In Specialty winner, 9 times Working Group winner, Award Of Merit at the Westminster shows 2004 and 2005, and he is additionally a true working dog, as his titles in rally (RA) and herding (HIC, HCT), and his Working Samoyed Excellent (WSX) title prove.

Angie's dam, Angel, is not a champion by a mistake of her breeder. Angel achieved 15 points with two major wins, but these two under the same judge. When her breeder became aware of it, Angel was already bred to Casey. Next year she whelped a second litter. When Angel was again ready for showing, she was already 5 years old. She was BOS in a 1 point show even at the age of 6 years, but she never could get the necessary major, mainly because her breeder was not any more interested in finishing her. A pity, since Angel is a very beautiful bitch who had deserved the champion title.

El-Al's Carnival King is the sire of our Silver and grandsire of our Salvia. He was imported by Fernando Sánchez when still a puppy from the El-Al's kennel in Tennessee. Chief did not become a champion, but this was only because he was not consistently shown, and because, when shown, he rather preferred to leave the ring to stay with his much beloved owner (Fernando), as we saw him doing in one major show.

Ciro's (our first Samoyed) sire, Charly, was a famous and outstanding Samoyed in Spain in the last eighties. He is quoted, with some inaccuracies and omissions, in several books on Samoyeds written in the nineties, such as 'The Samoyed', published by The Samoyed Association, Wards' 'The New Samoyed' or Pam Taylor's 'The Samoyed Today', apart of several minor books on the topic published in Spain. It is highly unlikely that his breeder could imagine that when she sold him as a pet when a puppy in Jacksonville (Florida) to a military man. His buyer was transferred to the USAF air base in Torrejón near Madrid, and Charly ended in Spain. When he was one year old, his owner decided to get rid of him, mainly because of his rather exuberant and not exactly typical temperament for a Samoyed. Fernando Sánchez and Jesús García-Bravo (Garcibravo Kennel) saw the advertisement in a newspaper, went to have a look on Charly, and they immediately realized that that playful young Samoyed was a superb specimen of his breed. They quickly came to an arrangement with his owner, bought the dog, and soon Charly was shown and brought to his well deserved stardom. Anyway, he did not get the Spanish champion title until 1991, at the age of 6 years. But Charly was not only a beautiful dog, he was an outstanding sire too. Nothing strange if we keep in mind that he had up to 3 times AM CH Kondako's Dancing Bear—one of the top producing males in the USA in the past century, who sired 31 champions—in his pedigree, and that his grandmother was one of the top producing dams in 50 years of Samoyed history in the USA: AM CH El-Al's Stormy Sea Ov Windy, with 12 champions in her progeny. Charly sired several champions: INT & ESP CH Kissy de Garcibravo, ESP CH People de Garcibravo, INT, ESP & GIB CH Blanco Lobo de Villaodón and the most outstanding of his sons: BIS, BISS INT, ESP & PRT CH Bogart de Villaodón (multi BIS winner in international shows, double BISS winner at the Spanish Specialty Shows for Nordic Dogs in 1993 and 1996, and Absolute Best Dog of Spain in 1993).
Charly is grandfather of our Silver too.
